In this prequel to The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon Cooper is a 9-year-old
genius experiencing high school in East Texas. The show follows Sheldon
as he grows up in the fictional small town of Medford, Texas, trying to fit into
a world of people, including his own family and friends, who don't understand
his intellectual abilities and social ineptitude. Many episodes of Young Sheldon
make references to early 1990s Historical events, many of them new to America.
